To any high ranking ACORN official,

I honestly believe that giving the oft uneducated “under priviliged” the ability to vote through registering them is a noble cause; but only if its done right. Although I feel this way, I also have come to believe that you, ACORN attempt to achieve this goal in the wrong fashion, and for this you deserve a stern talking to. That’s what this is: a stern talking to, in essence, it’s an intervention of sorts.

Suspend your disbelief, and I’ll explain why

1. Because you pay workers based on how many registrants they get (as opposed to paying them by the hour or the day) you’ve created an environment conducive to voter fraud. This allows you to take limited or no responsibility for your workers registering “mickey mouse” or “George Washington” to vote: this is a clever, but also calculated, underhanded and irresponsible tactic responsible for voter fraud and a reason for anyone to assault your legitimacy.

2. You support a higher minimum wage, yet barely pay your workers enough to get by: this is why they commit voter fraud. For an organization begging for reform, this is shameful and hypocritical.

3. You refuse to make your financial ledgers public: how can we be sure your workers aren’t snubbed because there isn’t room in the budget as opposed to my current belief: you’re profiteering charlatans using the unfortunate as an excuse to get rich off the easy money given to you by honest hardworking people (if that’s where you’re getting your money from).

4. You operate a national organization out of a funeral home, as opposed to a legitimate easy to find national headquarters; it’s like you want to hide something, and you don’t want anyone to ask you about it in person.

5. We can’t donate to local ACORN chapters: all the money goes to that funeral home. Without public books how can we be sure our money is getting to where it needs to be.

6. You placed your thugs in people’s homes. Albeit the purpose of keeping people in their homes is noble, it’s not appropriate or legitimate to do it with your black shirts.  Besides, many of these homeowners deserved this fate for poor financial planning and should have been kicked out too. Call me racist, I dare you, it won’t change facts. You should have used the money you weren’t paying your workers to make a fund for these unfortunate souls.

7. You menaced executives of companies who according to the bills which Democrats you funded, that supported your agenda, had a right to the money they were getting. According to the law they had done no wrong, regardless of their stupidity for giving out more sub prime loans than mandated originally by the CRA. This was a “noble cause” Mussolini would have advocated……if only he were in charge of the black shirts executing it of course.

In short you a) don’t seem to be a legitimate engine of reform, b) seem corrupt, c) behave like fascists, and d) sponsor policies which lead your employees committing voter fraud (even if you do not directly advocate it). In conclusion, I do not believe you should be eligible for taxpayer funding, I also find that you are in no way fit to count heads for school attendance, even less fit for counting the census.

Sincerely,

A skeptical observer

P.S. I believe your hypocrisy, graft and fascist thug mannerisms are a net negative to whatever cause you get behind.
